Athos and Alma are very successful wire's in Hungary in Work and Show,their offspring have becomeNation, European and World Champions.Alma [Irams mother] is the most successful wire worldwide in Work and Show an accolade Alma's mother [Iram's grandmother] once held,as you can see we chose our lines very carefuly. |

Although our dogs are primarily for working they are major part of our family life,for want of another word they are our "pets".They are my work companions and loyal friends they show me love and affection and a kindness i have not found with any other working breed.After the work is complete they like nothing better than a cuddle on the sofa or a blitz along the beach what a great fun dog !!!!!!!!!! |

Josag aka yo yo is the apple of Vanessa's eye and in her mind she" can't possibly do anything wrong",but i know differently,she's a very strong bitch thats very good at retrieving and just love's the reward that it brings!!! often retrieving one from the bag if there's nothing else to go and get.Josag is a very homely girl who is hugely loyal with a very sweet temprement she is also probaly to clever for her own good,with eyes that melt mere mortals she's very hard to tell off i usually end up turning my back and start laughing as she cocks her head to one side and wonders what all the fuss is about. |
"Bess" strange name to be given to a Hungarian dog born in Slovakia but who cares shes a real "sweetie". Bess has real drive in the hunt in fact she borders wild, she loves the gun but has never worked with hawks or falcons. Bessy is from very good working stock in Slovakia and was brought and exported to Hungary as a pup, unforunately Bessy was involved in a hunting accident with wild boar and suffered the loss of her bottem front teeth she also damaged her shoulder in another accident and was subsequently retired from field trialing in Hungary which allowed us to import her. |
Herb was our first Wire and holds a very special place in our heart's, after running Iram in a Hungarian field trial and seeing how it works i am very keen to run Herb as i know he will do very well.He is a very fast and wide running dog that is very good on the point, the spring will see Herb go into training for the trips to Hungary and Holland.Herb is very loving and loyal and is a big part of family life, he can be seen upside down on the sofa or curled up with one of the other dogs when all the work is finished, but is always the first to look to go to work and seems to have endless energy when he's there. |
Known as "D" i have a real soft spot for her she is so affectionate, her only goal in life is to please you provided you give her lots of attention in return and it's a done deal. She's good at picking up and on the point but she excels when dogging in ,the speed she travels at is beyond belief ,with real drive she covers ground at an alarming rate. Dia is top of the pecking order amongst the gang and is very quick to sort the boys out if they step out of line.D is very very close to Bess and we often refere to them as a couple of old bookends as its rare to find one without the other, Dia loves human contact and thrives on love and attention and is a huge part of us. |
Primarily a working dog Iram has also done very well in the show ring but this will never be alowed to clash with his working commitments, known to us as "Jeems" he looks big and tough but is a real softie at heart and loves any amount of fussing you can give him.He is a good all-round dog but because of his build is not so fast at covering ground as the others but still has good drive and desire in the hunt. |
